Yes, that’s also as I remember it. The one situation that poses difficulties for me in Monterey is answering an incoming Facetime call when the Mac is locked. It’s hard to reach the notification in time after using touch ID to unlock the device. I don’t remember whether I tried VO-N in that situation.

Those persistent ones that remain on the screen may have often been given automatic focus by VO, I can’t recall. I do recall though that it was slightly different in Big Sur. I actually prefer the Monterey style of doing things with notifications, but of course, that’s a personal preference. Once selected, you can use the Actions Menu (VO + CMD + Spacebar) to select the desired action. This is no different than what was done in big Sur. - Brad - On Jun 11, 2022, at 17:12, 'E.T.' via MacVisionaries <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: Open Calendar, go to its preferences, interact with toolbar, select Alerts. Under Big Sur, I used to be able to press VO-CMD-space, and dismiss the notification. But now, if I do that, the focus is on whatever app is highlighted on my desktop, so I’m unable to do anything with the calendar notification. Anyone know how I can dismiss these in Monterrey?
