Okay, finally got it shut off. Seems like I needed to bring up the applications list with VO+F1, then down to Notifications, Then VO+space to select, Then VO+downarrow to open the offending messag, then down arrow to cancel, then VO+space to select. Boy, that was sure simple, wasn’t it? What a royal PIA!
