Hi,

Also, take a look under the Apple menu, About This Mac.  In the Toolbar, click 
on Storage.  It should give you an outline of what is using up storage.

In addition, if Time Machine is enabled, and if you haven’t actually done a 
backup in a while, there may be a considerable number of snapshots using up 
space.
