I have a Honeywell Total Comfort Connect thermostat. The unit is completely accessible through the iOS app, there are several models to choose from. I have the RTH9585. It is available from Amazon and Home Depot. Honeywell was recommended by my HVAC company, who strongly advised against getting the Nest thermostat. I have been using this thermostat and the iOS app for about 7 years, and highly recommend it to anyone needing an accessible thermostat. It will do all the things you asked about in your post.
