I have used both, however, it’s been about 8 years since I’ve used a FitBit. I would go for the Apple Watch. The accessibility is better, and you can get more information and do more things with it.
You do control the Fitbit with the app. The app is accessible—or at least it was—but the Fitbit itself was not, at the time I tried it.
