Actually, it would be interesting to know whether you could use an
iPhone or iPad as the camera.
All of the documents I need to process are PDF files anyway, except for
what arrives in the mail, and I use an iPhone for that.
To answer the question, I would expect both scanners and cameras to be
supported.

Hi all, I don’t know much about full scanning OCR options. I was
just reading a bit about pearl and open book from Jaws. Does the Mac
have solutions like that? One main thing I want is the ability to
know if my reading material is right side up. I also like the idea
of the layout of the page remaining intact. Tables, columns, etc.
