Yes, it is pretty much a visual thing unless the slider is set to a position that closes the panel. Then the panel is non-existent to voiceover or to a visual user.

The splitter between the Mailbox table, and the Mailbox list table, determines how wide the Mailbox table is. Interact with the splitter to adjust. Splitter to the right of the Mailbox list table, will adjust the width of the Mail Preview area. Again, interact with the splitter to adjust.

Thanks. I notice a splitter between the mail box table and the messages table. There is another splitter just off to the right of the messages table. What do those do?

Hi Ray, no need to adjust anything. You can either use quick math or in your control and option keys plus right arrow, out of the mailbox table, and that will bring you into the Messages table. That's honestly the quickest way to do that.
Okay.
I am running the latest version of Ventura which is all this 2017 Mac book pro will support.
When I first set it up, my e-mail was so configured that I would be in the list of mail boxes and if I wanted to get to messages in a particular box, I just selected the box with the arrow keys and then tabbed once to access the list of messages for that box. Recently, I did something which means that now, instead of tabbing and back tabbing just once, I now must do it twice. Any ideas on what I might want to adjust?
