I am using Reaper with my Vocaster II and my MacBook Pro. I have my iPhone 14 Pro Max connected to the Vocaster II via TRRS and all is configured in Reaper. My issue is that some sound comes out of the Mac even if I plug a headset into the 3.5mm jack on the Mac. I’m concerned about it interfering with recording while my microphone is live. Is there some setting I am missing to turn down or off the Mac speakers while recording through the Vocaster using Reaper? I also have the complete Rogue Amoeba suite of 8 products if that helps.
