If I plug into the headphone port while listening the Mac mini
internal speaker, all goes silent. While on the internal speaker, there
is no headphone port selection in the Sounds settings.
Can one of the USB-C ports on the mini be used for audio?

Of course. Everything was working just fine. regardless of output device
used. Now just the Bluetooth headphones. Looked in the Sounds category, all
the output devices are in the table but I don't see an option to activate the
headphone port which what I need.

others connected to the audio out on the mini. No go. Tried Bluetooth
headphones which works except when I boot up, apparently because Bluetooth is
not yet available?
