Yes, Subtext tries to normalise line endings because that's normally what you 
want, a consistent line ending style throughout your file. On macOS, Unix/Linux 
and iOS that's LF-only, on Windows that's CRLF. Pick one and stick to it. If 
you open your file in TextEdit you can see what you're using.

But, honestly, for most text it doesn't really matter, so long as all your 
tools or programs know how to read the line endings. So don't lose sleep over 
it. Just edit and save.

On the other hand, maybe I should rethink my ancient practice of editing my 
todo lists as plain text files. It ain't exactly healthy.
