Your mileage may vary. When I enter the path code to open up my iPhone, such as after I put it to sleep I will hear the clicks. However, when entering passcode during other transactions, such as if the Face ID doesn’t work or if I’m not quick enough with the Face ID, or as part of an app, I often time will not hear the click as I enter the passcode.
