You can do everything using Voiceover on Mac including web browsing, shopping, reading writing emails, working with spreadsheets, docs and slides or even programming (which I do day in and day out ). There are somethings better in terms of accessibility on Mac than windows but something are veard and deserve some good improvement. The biggest difference is the file system. We don’t have a c: d: etc and paths are separated using / instead of \ like on windows. The accessibility keyboard commands and the approach Mac takes, particularly in case of web browsing is fundamentally different. Also there won't be an alt key or a windows key on the keyboard. The desktop layout is a bit different and you will have to learn some new terminologies like the dock as well as how you setup wifi or read notifications. Regards.
