Chuck,Other than screen sharing, have you ever had a notification where this CMD OPTION CTRL HOME worked? Sent from my iPhone Hi Steve, Yea it sucks! I tell the apple tech to file a bug report on it but who knows! Heres what I found that works most of the time after you get into notification! Build an “item chooser” as fast as you can then do a text string search for “except”, VO space on it and look for the next thing which is ok or something like that to give apple permission to view your screen! If your looking for the close button hit; control option command with the home key in the “6 pack”. YMMV

That screen share thing from Apple drives us all nuts! You are right, it times out much too quickly, and even when it doesn’t time out, it is almost impossible to find using normal voiceover access keys.
I try and find the notification again.
But in the case of the apple thing we meaning the Apple support person and myself just said uncle and he just told me over the phone how to in that case get the Siri 2 voice working.
The other thing is they time out too quickly which is what happened when I was going to try the screen share thing.
What do you do when that happens?

I've seen weerd things like this or it won't let you access the notification.
So it's not just something's up with my mackbook air then.

Sometimes, when I get notifications and try to access them by pressing VO N, Selecting that notification by pressing ENTER will then lead to a problem. Pressing VO Command Space will not give me the options I
need. Instead, I will get four options:
Move right by a page
Move Left by a page
Move up by a page
Move down by a page.
Executing any of these any number of times will not give me the option to close the notification. I can only do this by using my limited vision and pressing on it, physically, with my trackpad/mouse.
Why am I getting these options instead of the options I want? Why does this not happen all the time? What causes it? How can I respond to it accessibly?
I sometimes even get this problem when talking with Apple Accessibility support and having to use vision to activate a screen share, because VO Space won’t behave.
