<shrugs> if everything that is getting mobile sites gearing up for ipads not having flash, I would imagine there will be another interface. Personally I don't care one way or the other, but times and ideas change, or else we wouldn't have vo either. There is always a trasitional phase where things we once thought solid are no longer so, and we feel the pain of waiting in the vaccum. I can't say as I love it, but I am a realist, and it follows a certain trend along the lines of we don't use something anymore, we wait and something new comes along that replaces it.
