Haha! Yes, good debate for sure. I actually googled "Flash Being removed from os X" and did come up with a "fake Steve Jobs Diary" tweet report on techblips.com. But no reference as to whether this was really true. I think it's a great debate, and something I think few people are willing to debate, preferring to sweep it under the table. Flash makes designing websites with lots of dazzle fairly easy, but I think the Visually Impaired community are the only ones who hate flash the most because of its' inaccessibility to screenreaders.
