It depends on how confident you are. At the end of the day, it's a memory replacement. It's not like your going to be replacing a lcd or a motherboard. If you want to have a bit of fun whilst learning and don't mind the tinyist risk in the world that you might break your macbook, then go for it. However, if this isn't for you then take it to someone. Like I say, don't let them charge you - it's a very simple job.
