Hi, Don't worry about restarting VoiceOver manually, though. VoiceOver will automatically relaunch itself when it crashes.
It might be a good idea to check for VoiceOver crash logs in ~library/logs/CrashReporter and library/logs/CrashReporter. The first path refers to your user directory represented by ~, while the second path is off the main volume of your Macintosh. They're all timestamped.
