Hi Karen, I can understand what the appeal might be for a lot of people, especially if you are lucky enough to be in love with your phone carrier.
For myself I can honestly say that nothing on earth would induce me to buy a phone from any carrier I've had the misfortune to deal with in Canada. not bell or telus, and especially not rogers. In case I should ever be forced to buy a phone from a carrier I'll be buying the phone outright and never approaching anything that looks like a contract. Bad bad bad news. In this case I think I'll quite happily grab one from the apple store and then just buy a prepaid simcard for it from probably fido, but maybe I'll check mobilicity and see if they can support it.
