Amen brother!
actually Erick, I had no idea that one might experience an iphone without a provider. I still want a real demo, the person at cellar point was rather confused by the idea of voiceover, even though someone there knew of the access features. still the idea of enough coverage and usage support to make the investment worth it, without having to be tied to a company that may not fully understand the access is a welcome alternative.

Fido is *not* rogers. They are two different companies owned on paper by the

Hi Karen, I can understand what the appeal might be for a lot of people,
especially if you are lucky enough to be in love with your phone carrier.

For myself I can honestly say that nothing on earth would induce me to buy a
phone from any carrier I've had the misfortune to deal with in Canada. not
bell or telus, and especially not rogers. In case I should ever be forced
to buy a phone from a carrier I'll be buying the phone outright and never
approaching anything that looks like a contract. Bad bad bad news.

In this case I think I'll quite happily grab one from the apple store and
then just buy a prepaid simcard for it from probably fido, but maybe I'll
check mobilicity and see if they can support it.

Hey!
Something I may be able to help with, smiles.
Who is your provider?
For example cellular point stores have them for bell at last in Toronto.
best way might be to phone the cell company you are considering, ask if
they have the a phone and for a dealer near you.
I actually held one a month back or so here in Toronto.

Hi guys, Any one know when the iphone 4 is due in Canada? I can't find
either a due date or an msrp. This is very annoying when trying to
purchase equipment for a business.
