Hi,

Thanks to everybody. I ended up using simply burns to copy an earlier created 
version of the CD and making copies from there. I do agree with Kevin that I 
could have lowered the write speed in iTunes and resolved the skipping issue.

For anybody who cares, Simply Burns is a very nice program that is very VO 
friendly.
