i just realized that I posted this inquiry to the wrong list. it happens when you have been up since 4:15 AM. i am considering buying a mac. I have a Seagate 1 TB external USB HD that is about 3 quarters full of audio books, music, etc. it is formatted NTFS. Could i use this HD on a Mac, and what would i have to do first? Would it have to be reformatted and, if so, would i have to back up the media somewhere else and restore it when the reformat was accomplished?
