It doesn't look like itunes has a function for exporting your podcast feeds. However, you can move the feeds' URLs over one at a time.
1. Select an episode of a podcast in itunes. 2. Hit VO-shift-m, and choose "copy podcast feed." 3. navigate over to Xcast, and hit command-n to bring up the dialog for adding a new feed. 4. Paste the URL in the box with command-v. 5. Repeat steps 1-4 for each podcast you want to transfer from itunes. 6. Once you copy all your feeds over, interact with the first table and select all the feeds with command-a. 7. Hit VO-shift-m and and select "get info." 8. under "automatic download," choose "all new available" in the pop-up menu. That will cause Xcast to download new episodes whenever Xcast refreshes. 9. Hit command-, to bring up the prefferences dialog. 10. Navigate to the tool bar and interact with it. 11. Choose "Feeds" and stop interacting with the tool bar. 12. Activate the pop-up menu, and decide how often you want Xcast to check for new episodes. I have mine set to check every 30 minutes. 13. Back in the tool bar, choose "enclosures." 14. Hit the "change" button to change where Xcast saves your downloads. 15. Under "default Automatic Enclosures Download," choose "all new available" from the pop-up menu. 16. I have my maximum concurrent downloads set to 8. You might want to set it to something lower, depending on your internet connection. See how the program behaves for you. Good luck, and email me with any other questions you have. Onward! Rob Munro Harrisonburg, VA On Aug 22, 2010, at 2:46 PM, Sarah Alawami wrote: > Can you import your podcast links from itunes?
