Hello Justin, I'm pretty sure your scanner won't work directly with ABBYY FineReader. However, you can use Image Capture which is in your Applications folder, or purchase VueScan, which is what I use.
Whichever method you choose, you open the resulting file with ABBYY FineReader where you select the type of output you want, what to call it, and where to put it. ABBYY FineReader is self-explanatory when you use it.
