Yes, you need a Dropbox account. Go to dropbox.com and download the mac application. When you run the application, you will have an opportunity to create an account. After that, everything you put into the Dropbox folder will be uploaded to your account on dropbox.com. I don't know how to send a link because I haven't had to do that yet.
