hello. why not just set something in the services from with in text edit.

1. go to text edit. 2. go to services and prefs if convert to a spoken track is 
not there.

3. add the service from the right hand column by checking it. I can't remember 
where it is in the list but finding it should be fairly easy.

4. go back to text edit, select all of the text you want spoken and go back to 
services and choose spoken track.

If the rate is too slow put this in the top line by itself.

[rate 300]

I think i got the         syntax right. Someone could correct me on this as I 
have not dine this since jul. lol!
