Yep. Found out something for those of you who use Audio Highjack Pro though.
You might want to be aware that if you launch Audio Highjack Pro first then
navigate to Skype session then press command+r to begin highjacking and
recording the session, A problem reporter dialog will pop up that informs you
that Audio Highjack Pro cannot Highjack Skype; but, if you press the "restart
button", it will take the second time. Since this is a beta for Skype, I
rather expect that now would be the time to let Skype and Rogh Ameba know about
this problem. The work around seems to be that you should launch Skype first,
then, Audio Highjack. Once both apps are opened, you should then be able to
navigate to the Skype session in Audio Highjack and press command+g to highjack
or command+r to highjack and record without issues.
Another thing I'm finding is that not all my sounds will play. This
applies to custom sounds I created. Some will play but others will not. The
spects for all files are the same, and therefore, there should be no issues
there.
One thing in addition I've found is that Skype will really compress
volume very hard so that, if the party you're talking to goes in to another
room, Skype will really push on their levels very hard in an effort to make
that person audible.
I love the new layout, and, the accessibility is really very much better than
we had before.
