Okay; seems that the way you retrieve voice mail in Skype 5 beta is, to me, a little confusing. From the "source list," choose the number or name of the person who left the voice mail. Then, navigate to and interact with the HTML content frame, and eventually find a button that play/pauses the voice mail, another one that deletes it. It's do-able, but not obvious.
