Hi guys,

one of my clients bought a macbook in 2009 and then shelved mac OS in favour of
windows. Now of course her laptop isn't working properly and she is feeling
defeatist about the whole thing. One of her lines of enquiry has to do with
selling her current macbook and buying a reasonable windows 7 machine. I'm not
really in favour of this no matter what she decides, but I need to know, what
is fare market value for her notebook, assuming that she still has a year and a
half worth of apple care on the thing?

I think it's the very first 13 inch macbook pro. The one with the sd card slot
on the left hand side. It's not customized in any way, so 2.2 ghz processer,
250 gb hard drive, 4 gb ram, OS10.5 leopard.

assuming that it has the remainder of her apple care, what would you say is
fare market value for the computer? I tried looking it up on Ebay, but I can't
find anyone selling used macbooks. They are all new, and priced accordingly of
course.

Thanks,
