Hi Ray,

I use simply burns for two reasons.
First and foremost, simply burns does for both data and audio, and has features
I want, such as disc at once, gapless output, buffer underrun protection, data
verification, volume labelling, and on and on. As long as you know where your
files reside on your drive you can burn them. You can also burn from external
usb or network locations without the drama of loading them into a program and
having them databased. It also streamlines features like cd and dvd copying
down to a couple of button presses. In short, it's a real full featured
burning application, and I need one. Where-as Itunes is not a full featured
burning application and doesn't have the feature set I need.

Then there is the second reason, which is that ITunes is abominable. I don't
use it for anything except training for people who want such things and
sometimes radio stations or syncing my company's ipod. Itunes is so bass
acwards It sometimes makes me break out in a sweat with rage at the sheer
waste. That's when I know it's time to give up and go find something else. A
computer program should not be able to have that effect on a human being.

best,
