Here are a couple more questions for you, or anyone else, for that matter:

•Is there a way to have VO announce underlined text? 
I know that underlining can be turned off and on with Command + U, but the 
status isn't announced by VO.

•Is there a way to number the bulleted lists?

•Is there a comprehensive cheat sheet where all the Text Edit keyboard commands 
are listed?

I will give you a holler on Skype soon to discuss a different, rather pleasant 
issue with you.
