Hi Caroline

The dismiss popup thing may make more sense to you if you try
exploring the screen by running your finger around rather then
swiping. I am not saying that you are just swiping but it helped me to
explore this way as well as swiping. The dismiss popup can be thought
of as a back button if you like. Try going into mail and double
tapping on the Reply button. You will get a popup in the top right
hand corner. It is like a little menu that has various options, ie
Reply, Reply All, Forward and Print. These options are below each
other in a popup window. So if I had hit the Reply button instead of
the Delete button and then wanted to cancel I could touch anywhere
else on the screen other then in the popup menu and VO would say
double tap to dismiss popup. To me this is a very useful feature, it
just takes time to get use to.

I hope this makes sense. My explinations are not always the easiest to
follow or at least that is what my wife says *smile*
