Oh wow, I had no idea. I hope you're getting better from whatever landed you
there in the first place.

I've managed to pair the Icom with the Macbook successfully, sort of. It
doesn't *stay* paired; whenever nothing is being transmitted, after three
seconds the Icom goes inactive and then comes back awake when it hears
something from the Macbook again. With the patchcord, you can "lock in," that
signal and it won't keep beeping in my ears all the time. I can't seem to find
a way to stop the Icom from going to sleep and waking up again when using the
Bluetooth.

The other thing I haven't got quite figured out yet is getting Skype to use the
Icom as its "handset," for telephone calls. The only way I could get the Icom
to pair successfully with the Macbook was to turn off the "notify me of all
incoming requests," check box in Bluetooth Preferences. However, this has the
effect of preventing the Macbook and Skype from receiving the "answer call,"
signal sent by the big flat button on the Icom box itself. If, however, I
leave this box unchecked in Prefs, Icom only pairs as a mono headphones, and
not well at that.

There also appears to be an appreciable lag in Voiceover's response time, which
I can't seem to fix.

Anyway, please get better first and then deal with all this? It's not at all
urgent. :)
