Hi, Do yourself a favor and set-up an appointment with the Apple store and bring it in if this is an option. As long as you can reproduce the problem the should be able to fix it at no cost to you and get he matter resolved and over with. I had a problem with my track pad about a month ago, met with a tech, left my machine with him and the next morning it was back at 100 percent. They don't care where you got the machine because as long as it is a Mac it's all in the family as far as they're concerned.
