Hello all, I have a question about the terminal: In the classic linux distributions that run with bash, there is a .bashrc-file where you can add aliases. A alias gives the possibility to make a short string=command for a long instruction. a example can be: alias commandtest='this are all the commands that are executed when commandtest is typed'
I would like to make aliases in terminal for some commands but I can't find the .bashrc-file. Can someone give me some hints how this works on a mac? Thanx for your help! best regards, William -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
