Hi Geof. Soundflower no longer comes with audio hijack pro. It used to be
there were two components that you needed to install. Instant hijack allowed
audio hijack pro to hijack audio from an app without restarting it. While
soundflower allowed you to record all system audio. Now they have a new
component called instant on, which is supposed to replace both of those older
components. However instant on doesn't seem to include the mic while hijacking
system audio. Even if you have the mic hijacked with another session, and have
it's output going through default system output, instant on doesn't seem to
grab it.
