I followed your directions to the letter and I hear new folder, get info, paste
item, view, arrange by and view options.
I have tried going to the dropbox app and opening it and then navigating back
to the dropbox public folder and still no luck. I am assuming my dropbox is
installed, since I am sharing folders with a couple of friends. I just cannot
seem to get this stuff going in the public folder.
I tried to uninstall dropbox and it told me it could not move dropbox to the
trash because dropbox was running. I see that I have several .dmg versions of
dropbox in my downloads and thought maybe I could revert to the earliest one.
I just don't know why it's not working and again, I absolutely followed your
instructions to the letter.

make sure that the file you want to share is actually in your Dropbox/Public
folder. From Finder, press Command-Shift-H to go to your home directory, then

site…". VO-Down arrow again twice. You should hear VoiceOver say "View
Previous Versions…", then "Copy Public Link". When you reach "Copy Public
Link", press VO-Space. You should now be able to paste the link (with
Command-V) into a mail message or text file. Sorry to be heavy-handed about
this, but these commands should work whether or not you have TrackPad Commander
on or off, and regardless of your cursor tracking settings. Let us know if you
still don't see a Dropbox sub-menu.
