I also would be very interested to know if Blackboard can be accessed with 
Safari. Angel, another online course management system, is not accessible with 
Safari, so I am having to use Windows and the System Access screen reader to 
use Angel. If Blackboard is not accessible in Safari, perhaps your student can 
access it in Windows.
