Hello List sorry for taken up you time here with my Question I am having some trouble with a Brailliant 40 Braille display A very kind fellow member here on this list Mr Scott Howell has been trying to help me and I have taken up a lot of his time over the past day or two. But Mr Howell has the new version of the Brailliant
I have the previous model that has plugs for a power adapter, serial connection, and USB . and I also believe that Scott is running the newer version of the Firmware as I am not getting the same menus that Scott can find. Right down to my question I am trying to get Bluetooth up and running on my Brailliant 40 And after many many days try and retrying i am still at the same point and that is no where. when I put the display on and go down the menus I am only getting 4 or 5 options I have read all the info in text format and this came with this Display so it is for it but the Menu I am getting has only about 4 or 5 options and no matter what I try I can not get the a dot 7 or 8 under the cursor USB option but I can not find any where that has Bluetooth listed as well. I am hoping that someone on the list is using a Brailliant 40 display that could help me here please to setup the Bluetooth option I can not find any where on my manual that gives a clue about accessing an advanced menu that will let me put on the Bluetooth option. I would be very grateful if you would be so kind to give me an idiots guide on how I can do this Please I only get a few menu options and after days and days I am still totally lost it is getting the best of me. been using Braille notetakers for years and years with a Braille Lite 18 Pacmate BX40 and many others but this little thing has got me right and Good. I am after Bluetooth now because I am going to buy myself the ipad 2 and I need a Display to access this as I can't hear Voiceover I am Deafblind.
