Hello everyone. I've asked this question before but didn't get an answer.
When downloading files, how do I check to confirm that the download is
complete? In Windows you get a dialog that monitors the progress and lets
you know when the download is complete.

In my Safari, under General in preferences, is a "safe downloaded files to,"
with a pop-up button next to it set to Downloads or "other."  Perhaps this
is the beast you are hunting?
