You can not run pc software on a mac.  That's why there are mac and windows 
versions of some software.  Yes there are 32 bit and 64 bit versions of 
sofware.  Most of the time people use what's called a universal binary for mac 
os.  It figures out, at run time, if your machine is 64 bit and runs the 
appropriate mode.  

Like I mentioned on the pro tools access list, the mini is a core 2 duo at up 
to 2.66 ghz.  This is quite a bit slower than an i5 or i7 at 2.6 ghz.  This is 
do to the architectural changes.
