Hello Angel

There is a version of Abbyy Finereader for the mac. I know that this is 
brilliant on the PC and quite cost affective but I am not sure how it is on the 
mac as it has only been made available in the last few years. This software 
will scan your documents and then  transfer to textedit or pdf, you can't read 
within the program directly.
