Um, socialists in DC, try corporatists. See, despite what some media figures
tell us, the fusion of the corporation with the state is actually defined as
fascism. Sorry, but it does matter to get the definitions right.
Now, in order to get this back on topic, I'm sure that now they've been caught
with their pants down so to speak, they'll have to give us the option to not
have that feature on.
If they don't, well, as the ultra-conservatives who think socialism is evil
say, it's your free market choice to give up the iPhone and your choice to give
up accessibility. After all, the free, unregulated market can fix everything.
When the corporations in their infinite benevolence see that we are voting with
our dollars and opting out of the technology they offer, they'll naturally do
the right thing for the citizens without any government interference whatsoever.
Sorry folks, but seriously, can we try to keep the friggin politics off the
list? Believe it or not, some people are conservative, and some of us are
liberal. Some of us are gay, and some are straight. Some are Christian and some
are Pagan. We have multiple cultures and races on this list with many different
beliefs. We all have our differences, but we come together to talk about our
Apple products. It's the thing we have in common.
