Hello all,
About scanning: I have a canon 700f lite that I use with my macbook.
As scanning program , I use mp navigator ex v2.1 but, with this program, it
seems not possible to start a scan-task from the command-line.
There are also other problems: the buttons on the scanner for the quicktasks,
are sometimes working very slow.

But: is there a way to start a scan-task from the command-line (with a option
to specify the place to save the scanned result)?

I know that some here are using vuescan or scangear but I don't know what this
exactly is and, before playing with it, i would like to know if another program
allows me to scan from the command-line?

I have also seen more recent versions (4.0) of mp navigator ex but there was
something strange with it: no direct urls, no comments on the program...

Thanx for your answers and sorry if this kind of questions has been placed here
before.

best regards,
William
