Hi there. I got a Macbook from either 2008 or 2009, don't quite remember, and I
doubt their significantly different as far as boot camping anyways. I got SL on
it now as well. I finally got XP on to it by taking it into a shop, guess they
needed to use a different XP disk with the product key for the one I got. It's
plausible it could've been bad as they shipped it in a thin envelope, one of
those that just fits a CD, maybe in a baggy with 2 sticks of useless desktop
memory, not the kind my PC uses anyways. It's mostly running fine, but I
recently got this analog headset with a copy of Dragon I won in that Seeing Eye
Auction, well, JTools is what I wanted that auction for but for a few dollars
more, dragon was part of the package. This thing has a Real Tech sound card,
never cared for them much, but I can't get the thing to go from the internal
mic you'd never use with dragon to this headset. The audio out works fine. I'm
sure it all works in OSX with Audio Hijack as the options are there to turn
that line in into a mic jack. Is there any way at all to do this on the Windows
side, or do I need to get a mic with digital on it that hooks into that mini
plug, if such exists? I thought I'd use this for skype calls as well, but using
skype to landline, sometimes people don't hear me on the internal and too much
JFW gets in. I know the Real Tech software Apple uses isn't so good on
accessibility, some kind of reverb kicks in if you tab too much, and it takes a
system restore to kill that.

Thanks.
