Hi Donna! and others!
Like someone has suggested I've got a keyboard commander set for this function!
To go from the bottom or top to the other end, whilst staying in the same 
column I use right option and either 1 [to top] 2 [for bottom]
You find the commands in the navigation part of the list of commands!
I set this up because you do not get that [bonk ] sound when you use the option 
up and down arrows!
Anyway something to consider!
Or one of the other commanders!
