Well I am glad you have no trouble with that gesture. I do.  But what you're 
saying is that I needf to accommodate Apple's failure here. I don't agree.  
Frankly, I would have had an easier time just viewing my last message in my 
sent mail folder on a PC.  I find that rather sad, it should be a fairly basic, 
straight-forward task.  Sorry, but I'm just not one of those people who thinks 
that Apple walks on water, even if they totally drop the ball.
