I have seen this but haven't found a workaround. I'm thinking to myself i wonder what would happen if i switched the adium voice for the events to one of the nuance voices, would that help things? Does the problem lye within Adium or Lion? Is it the same issue with say Skype, that also can announce messages, events and the like? /Krister
