I have the same problems with Chrome. But when I was prompted to choose a
search engine, I chose the first image button. I figure the choices are
probably Google, Yahoo and Bing. I'm quite certain Google is the first choice,
and I was right.
I am able to read an html site, but for some reason, some links don't click.
Drop down menus like amazon.com does not work. When I type something in an edit
box, apparently it is going into the box, but VoiceOver does not read it back
to me.
I can't use tab navigation the way I do in Safari.
In Chrome Preferences, I can get past the first tab, which is Basic.
In my opinion, Chrome is somewhat accessible, but it's not ready to replace
Safari.
I wish there is something that can replace Safari. At this point, I'm ready to
go back to Windows and using Firefox with Jaws or Window-Eyes. At least it's
not going to say "Safari busy".
