Hi, David, The Mac Mini used to work with an adapter plugged into the monitor port, but no longer, especially with Safari, the web browser. VO does not read web pages properly and gives unending "busy" messages. I haven't experimented with other applications, but I use the web so much that it's not worth it to me to try it without a monitor. I love the small amount of space it takes up on my desk, but it's not truly portable in that way.
