Oh sorry about that, Haptic technology, in the case of the link, alows you to feel definition on a hard surface, like protrusions and cavities, with either vibrations or electrical charges.
The example on the link i sent is the latter, on a polymer based laminate which usually would fit on the surface of devices such as the iphone ipad or ipod touch.
